Women have a profound capacity to create the world into being.
As women, we are womb-bearers, experiencing the highs and lows that come through us as creators. Our wombs - whether active, dormant or removed from the body - offer us the profound gift of understanding creation from a very internal and mystical place. This is an extraordinary and awe-inspiring feeling when we are experiencing the beauty and bliss of creating from a place of peace, joy, gratitude and deep love.
However, many of us have endured deeply traumatic experiences that seem to make no sense, causing immense distress, anxiety, fears and pain, some of which can or may have manifested into physical ailments and diseases. Our lives - however they may look on the outside - can be an ongoing place of aloneness, suffering, sadness and fear that seem unending despite our greatest efforts to immerse ourselves in yoga or movement practices, healthy foods, affirmations of self-love and supportive friendships.
Whatever our past exeriences have been, our empowerment comes from transforming the pain that we've experienced - the trauma that has shaken us - and activating our inherent self-healing capacities and role as creators.
In so doing we come to understand how to create from a place of compassion, peace and joy for this life that we’ve chosen, not from reading or talking about it but from directly experiencing it.
When we make the choice to truly understand our role as creators and truth bearers, no longer willing to live from the motivational roots of trauma (fight, flight, freeze, appease), we open up a passageway within that leads us to parts of ourselves that we cannot even imagine exists. Our light and most sacred essence outshines whatever darkness we hold within, whatever fears we are harbouring, and leads us to a place of freedom from our continued suffering.
We are so much more than we’ve been believing, and getting to know the depths of our love for ourselves is the healing balm that we’ve been searching for. These aren’t words, and the experience of opening to our own depth of loving creates a deep bond that once activated, opens the door to a whole new understanding, experience and way of being.
This retreat will awaken you to new understanding about your capacity to love, experience, feel, sense, know, heal and create.
Through the depth of support and guidance offered, you will be well nourished, allowing your body to relax and release in a growing sense of safety within.
