Riding lessons

Pricing: Introductory session (20$ + taxes)
A 30 minute introduction to Captiva’s horses and methods before heading out on the trail. This is required of any riders new to our farm or with little or no Western riding experience. Adult trail ride: 45$ + taxes - 18 years and older
Youth trail ride: 40 $ + taxes -10-17 years old. 1 hour trail ride, reduced rate for youth 10 - 17 years old. These young riders will require the introductory session as a refresher before going on each trail ride. Riders younger than 10 can enjoy a lesson in the arena or a pony walk
Group rate: 12 riders: 55$ + taxes per rider- 30 minute intro session + 1 hour ride (regular price is $65)
Every rider in the group must take the introductory session regardless of experience in order to receive the group rate.

Private guide: 45$ an hour + taxes
Pony rides: 3-7 years old - 25$ hour + taxes
Riding lessons: 7 years old and up - $45

The "Ultimate Adventure" is a package that combines rafting and bungee jumping.
This package is a two day trip. The rafting is a whole day event and the bungee jumping is about a two hour event on a separate day. You can either do the bungee jump first or you can do the rafting first. The bungee can be booked for any time during the day between 11am and 6pm.
Price is $246.87 + tx. You may add the RIPRIDE zipline to the package for $26.09 CAD + taxes. Ultimate Adventure packages must be paid in full at the time of the booking.

Package 1: The Experience

Our main package in a half-day ride for small groups of 1 to 3 adults. An adult can be replaced by two children of 12 years or less. The ride last about 1h00, depending on the weight of the adults and snow conditions. Prior to departure, we train the adults so they can drive the sled.

Package 2: The Ride
The ride last about 15 minutes for groups of 4 to 12 adults. Prior

to departure, we train the adults so they can drive the dogsled.

Package 3: The Sprint

The rides last about 5 minutes for groups of 10 to 20 persons .

Package 4: The Full Moon

This package is offered at night. During this ride, clients cannot drive the sled. They let themselves be driven by the guide in the forest in darkness with the moon as the only light source. This package is for a group of 1 to 2 persons and no experience is required.

Come enjoy pleasures by participating in maple sap harvesting and observing the sap transformation steps. Snowshoeing or by foot, come do the trails of our sugar shack and collect maple sap.

Heated refuge at your disposal.

Cost: $20/adult and $15 / child of under 12 years or less accompanied by an adult.

FARM VISITS (reservation required)

A one-hour farm visit. You can feed and touch animals! Animals to discover: emus, dogs, quails, rabbits, donkeys, pigs, sheep, ducks, chickens, alpaca and silkies.

CANICROSS & BIKEJORING: The canicross is a sport where you harness a dog (bring your own dog or you can run

with one of the dogs at Ferme l’Aventure). Dog and human form a team to run together. The dog is tied to the human being by a bungee (elastic lead) and a belt conceived especially for canine traction. You can run or walk with a dog. There are also a scooter & bikejoring (bike) options.

REFUGE RENTAL - The refuge has a table with 6 chairs, 2 sofas beds and a wood stove. This is a refuge with no electricity and the toilet is outside.
